Miguel is a great host, very responsive and give you local tips and help if needed. Internet works seamless, great for work and support meetings. The area is safe and takes 15 min walk or 1.25$ taxi ride to the center. Water available. Very good illumination due to massive windows. Fans on rooms and living room. Bus stops nearby to go to laguna Azul.

We didn't find a lot of them. Nice view. Public kitchen. Friendly staff. We went to a great jungle tour with them! I would recommend it especially for couples or a group of friends.

The Hostal is a pleasant place, hammocks for reclining, though they did bring me a comfortable chair. The kitchen is the usual with hostels, not many decent knives or cookware, but a fridge and a gas stove are provided. There was only one other couple sharing the kitchen. Location is great, the staff is attending to your needs, advice is given on activities around Tena. The Hostel offers value for money, and its people offer help on your journey in many ways. If I am back in Tena, I'd stay there again.
