We lived in a separate apartment with nice design. It has its own terrace. There is a big river just outside the apartment and the sound of river makes you feel you are in the nature. Very good kitchen and big parking space just by the apartment's door.

The staff were all really friendly, very nice people. The kitchen has everything you might need, and is always clean. Laundry service is available. The bathrooms are clean, hot water always available. The location of the hostel is great, it is just one street away from the main part of town, so you don't get a lot of traffic and it's a quieter area.The hostel appears to have two parts, an older section and a newer section. The newer section looks really nice. The older section is all made of wood, that's where we stayed because we were trying to be cheap. But still our room was comfortable. There is a nice area with hammocks and tables. We heard that Mindo gets busy mostly on the weekends, and we were there during the week, so it was really quiet and at times we were the only people there. Also, the staff was really helpful, gave us tips on local buses etc.

A very nice place for families couples or group of friends. I went with my two little kids and they enjoyed the outdoor spaces. We stayed at the three bedroom apartment and it was very nice and confortable for a short stay. The only complain I have is that there is not soundproofing on the second floor so we could hear our ‘neighbors’ walking late at night which was disturbing with two little kids but otherwise the place was perfect. The breakfast was very pleasing. The hotels is a short walk to town which was great for when we had to grab lunch/dinner. You could book the different activities to do in town at the hotel as well. The owner was very nice and the employees very friendly. I’ll definitely stayed at this place when I go back to visit Mindo.

Inti Mindo Hostel is a very special place in the nature. Mateo is a very friendly guy and he knows a lot about indigenes people and culture. He has good recommendations for trips, hostels and everything. If I would go again to Mindo, I would definitely go to Inti Hostel, because there I can relaxe and be myself. Good hostel! The family is really nice and the rooms are good. A couple of hammocks and a kitchen with filtered water and a fridge. Few minutes away from the centre but Mindo is small anyway :)

Location was good. You have to consider that Mindo is a very small town so location is relative to your preferences and expectations. Staff was really kind and nice.
