Looking for a hostel?

Budget travelers know there's no better way to make the most of their trip than by staying at a hostel: Save money for exploring during the day, and swap stories with fellow backpackers in the shared kitchen or bar in the evening. Dorm-style bedrooms with shared bathrooms are standard hostel fare, but private rooms are also available for those willing to pay a little more.

Great value for money. Cheap and central. We were literally just there to sleep and break up a long driving day, and it was fine for that. Walls are paper thin, shower is a classic Danish one over the toilet. Great bunk bed for my son. Honestly, I was very happy given it was a last minute booking and paid quite a bit less than the alternatives.

Beds are super clean and comfortable and have curtains ! There’re bathrooms and showers in every dormitory room! Private lockers that could be opened by the same digital key to the door ! Super kind staffs, it’s a bar so easy to buy refreshments and snakes, while not loud at night, perfect! The Aarhus art museum is right in front of the hostel. parking places for bikes in front of the hotel

Fun indoor minigolf-course, great fun for families. Rooms are sound proof from the bar and communal areas than can get quite busy and loud with people having drinks and hanging out in the evenings. Good breakfast. Great location.

Everything works brilliantly here. Free lockers to store your luggage on departure, knowledgeable, friendly staff, great breakfast, fantastic location. We loved playing mini golf (extra charge) and the place had a calm but fun atmosphere. A mixture of families, backpackers and local young people populate the spacious communal areas. It feels safe and well thought out with lots of little ‘extras’ give it a feeling if a hotel rather than a hostel. The rooms themselves are equally well designed.

We frequently stay in budget hotels in the UK, Danhostel is far better than these. The staff are incredibly friendly, polite and accommodating. The hostel was excellently located. The room large and clean. The breakfast was especially good, one of our party is gluten free, and was not treated like an annoyance or dismissed (as often happens in the UK). In fact, was welcomed by the staff, was offered many many options and enjoyed a banquet!

The staff were really friendly and helpful, the location is super central and for Denmark this was a cheap stay. Breakfast was basic but very nice. There was a wide mix of people staying there including families, backpackers and older people. We were pleasantly surprised it wasnt full of drunk young people like in Amsterdam.
