Free lockers to store your luggage on departure, knowledgeable, friendly staff, great breakfast, fantastic location. We loved playing mini golf (extra charge) and the place had a calm but fun atmosphere. A mixture of families, backpackers and local young people populate the spacious communal areas. It feels safe and well thought out with lots of little ‘extras’ give it a feeling if a hotel rather than a hostel. The rooms themselves are equally well designed.

The staff are incredibly friendly, polite and accommodating. The hostel was excellently located. The room large and clean. The breakfast was especially good, one of our party is gluten free, and was not treated like an annoyance or dismissed (as often happens in the UK). Breakfast was basic but very nice. There was a wide mix of people staying there including families, backpackers and older people. We were pleasantly surprised it wasnt full of drunk young people like in Amsterdam.
