Staff was great and really helpful. Tamarindo can be quite touristy but this house feels more like a home. It is very quiet even though right in the city centre. Would recommend 100%

I really recommend this hostel for everyone visiting tamarindo. By far the best hostel I’ve stayed at, the kitchen was well equipped and always clean, and the pool was very nice. Last but not least the staff there was amazing. Me and my friend had a bad headache after getting sunburned, and the manager there was so helpful and showed us a way that made the headache go away almost completely. Thanks to you especially Leo, and the rest of the staff of course!

This is one the best places I have stayed in my life. Backpackers has such a welcoming and friendly environment. Even in six days I felt like I was surrounded by family. I met so many incredible people. It was so hard to leave, but one day I will go back. If you are going to take a lesson a surf lesson, do it through Marco's school!

It was cleaned every day by a nice woman. The pool was amazing and the area around it was nice for relaxing. It was really calm and the kitchen was big and clean. Really quiet during the night.

The location right at the beach. It has a nice luxurious touch to it everywhere. Interior and exterior. Good surfing just outside. Really nice breakfast. Scrambled eggs, fruit, toast, juice.

The manager (Omar) is super nice and helpful:). The hostel has a very positive vibe:), full of young people:). The beach is super close, (lone minute from the hostel). The rooms are very simple, but clean, you have everything you need:)

The location is in the best spot in town! Right on the main road so lots of places to eat, markets less than 3 minutes away, and less than 4 minutes to the best spots on the beach, and both the best clubs were neighbors to the hostel! (Directly across the street as well as in the beside ally. The hostel was very accommodating; kitchens with full use at any time, no curfew on the building, multiple showers and toilets, discount at neighboring restaurant, an amazing common area. . Would recommend this hostel to anyone!

Friendly staff, well equipped kitchen, good location (close to the beach, supermarket and restaurants near by), dorms with AC, enough bathrooms, you can book surflessons at the hostel, easy to meet people and nice vibes
