Best hostel in Costa Rica hands down. 4 weeks spent here overall..Wonderful family, I wish I had their love /hoapitality back home. Its quiet, lovely communal area, wonderful breakfast. Great shower, lovely guests. Its awesome. I love it, booked an extra 3 nights. I'm easily pleased but this is the de-facto place to stay I'm San Jose should you be looking for a dorm bed. David is just the best, lovely wife and children. I'll miss it terribly. Thank you David and co.

Staff super friendly, really comfortable rooms, good breakfast, lovely space and good location for the restos and shops in Barrio Escalante. Centre of town is close by to either walk, bus or fairly quick taxi. We extended our stay and would stay again.

I loved this place. It is well located near to downtown and bus stations which is very convenient. The workers Cesar and Kenneth are amazingly kind and helpful. They are always ready to give orientation and advice. Also Laura on the weekends. The common areas are also clean and comfortable. Breakfast is included from 5 a.m. so you can have it before taking an early bus to other towns. You can have coffee or tea for free 24/7. In the evening you can order delicious pizza for a good price. I'll go back when visiting Costa Rica again.
