The hostess, or the lady that runs the facility was extremely nice. She had breakfast ready and it's a wonderful home with rooms. The bathroom was very clean, and hot water! Internet worked great. Way better and cheaper than the hostels in the area. I'm sure you'll love it. They don't speak English, but hey just use Google translate. They even do your laundry.

The family who work here are great. They were very helpful, had bag storage, clothes washing facilities and we're very kind to provide us with breakfast items the evening before, as we were leaving very early on a tour the next day. The room and bathroom was clean and the outdoor seating area is a nice place to sit and relax. The place is close to the bus stations and the centre of town.

Very friendly family owned hostel. We rented bikes from the hostel to go on a fun ride to Coquimbo. Room was clean and there is a commune area. Rodrigo gave us some great travel tips for Vicuna, our next stop. Super kind and helpful - walked us to the bus station as well.

The hostal is very pretty and friendly. The staff greeted me directly in English. But best of all the owner Jens, with whom I had really great conversations in the evening. All in all a really great trip to La Serena.

Friendly, polite and well English speaking host. Absolute cleanness in the room. Highly comfortable bed. Lovely dogs in the property🫶 Fast internet and smart tv. Beautiful garden.

I can only recommend this El Arbol Hostel. The stuff is very nice and incredibly helpful. The chef speaks English. She has very good recommendations for your stay and you can easily reach her with What‘ app. The place is though small, very comfortable, clean and cosy and La Serena is a surprisingly nice city with more things to do than you have probably thought.

Duża przestrzeń wspólna (trzy tarasy). Duża kuchnia dobrze wyposażona. Szafki żeby zostawić plecak, nawet po check out. Bardzo miła obsługa.

Everyone there was really friendly. They accommodated our very late check in without any dramas. Breakfast was good. Daily housekeeping was a nice touch. The hostel was really secure. It’s a good location, central to the town centre and you can walk to the beachfront.
