Everything I expect from an HI hostel really. Particularly liked the dinner option in the evening and breakfast in the morning, which is a good money-saver. Friendly and helpful staff, clean and comfortable.

Lovely hotel in the very centre of the old town. Very good option for a budget traveller. The room had everything we needed, the mattresses were very good and the room was very clean. But the most important thing about the hotel is the staff. Despite the fact that we were very late check in, they waited for us and were very nice to us. I can 100% recommend this hotel. And if you take into account the price of the room, this hotel is even more attractive.
Ascona (Near Locarno)
Situated in Ascona in the Canton of Ticino, Casa Moscia is located directly on the shore of Lago Maggiore and features a private beach area. The hostel is operated by a Christian association and offers a familiar atmosphere and many facilities for children.

It is very beautiful, well taken care of and services are very well organized. We felt very much 'at home' there. The view from the rooms is extraordinary. The garden is beautiful with lots of different plants.
