The views were gorgeous (very easy when staying in Lauterbrunnen but still). The location was extremely convenient as it was really close to the train station and the Coop grocery store. The staff was super friendly and lovely and always helpful. The rooms were nice and comfortable, I was barely in there during the day anyway but still, I loved that there were multiple plug and usb outlets next to the bed so I could charge all my stuff at the same time. There was a laundry room were I could hand wash some of my clothes and let them dry too which came in very useful. I didn't use the kitchen much but it seemed alright, maybe a bit dirty by the end of the day but it's expectable and no big deal. Wifi worked well too. There's luggage storage free of charge which was great. Showers were nice and big and I liked that there was a small space with a bench before the shower so I could leave my stuff there and get dressed comfortably. Honestly everything was perfect and would come back a 100%!!

Amazing location!! We had an upstairs room looking into the valley. It’s a short walk or bus into town. The hostel included a table tennis table, games room, an industrial kitchen plus more. This was a great place to stay if you’re on a budget.

A szállás régi parasztház volt, pont olyan, amilyet szerettünk volna. Kényelmes volt és igazi autentikus berendezésű. A folyosón lévő fürdőszoba nem okozott problémát, csak két szoba lakói osztoztak rajta. A reggeli fantasztikus volt és óriási választékú. A személyzet nagyon kedves, udvarias és segítőkész. A magyar recepciós hölgy segítőkészsége jól jött a környék felfedezése során. Köszönjük ez úton is.

This hotel is relatively not expensive in Grindewald, but the experience is amazing and surprised. It has comfortable accommodation, beautiful landscapes around, spacious relaxing space, delicious breakfast, a lovely cat, etc. This is the best youth hostel I have ever stayed in in my life!

Nicely located. Nicely sized. Friendly and helpful staff. View from the restaurant was just awesome. Food was great. Will definitely recommend this hotel to our family and friends.

Very comfortable beds with friendly staff . Breakfast was awesome , also serve dinner (17CHF which I think is reasonable). The amenities were very clean, no issues . There were also lockers you can use with a deposit 2CHF if needed . Oh the view of the great Eiger from the hostel and the dining place is priceless , worth every dime !!
