Situated in Ghent, 2 km from Ghent Christmas Market, Treck Hostel has barbecue facilities and a terrace. Attractively situated in the Brugse Poort-Rooigem district, this hostel offers a shared lounge. Facilities include a children's playground and free WiFi is available.

I loved the breakfast, very abundant and healthy. It was truly the best! Also liked the room, it was very clean, great lighting with all the appliances available. It even had a handwasher inside. Great toilets and showers, there were enough for everyone around the facility. Very conscious disposal of the waste, you had to separate everything in categories and there were labeled containers everywhere. Also, there is free stuff available in the kitchen and bathrooms. You can leave something useful and/or take in case of emergency. Everything was fantastic!

Located right in Ghent's city centre, KaBa Hostel features a garden with a terrace and offers rooms with free WiFi 1 km from the Vrijdagmarkt Square and Ghent's City Council. Public parking is possible near the accommodation for a charge.

Dormitory rooms at KaBa Hostel come with lockers and shared bathroom facilities. Some rooms also feature a TV and a private bathroom. Guests have access to the property's garden with a terrace.

KaBa is in a perfect location. It’s about 10-15mins walk anywhere in town. And a very pretty 10-15mins walk at that. So easy to get around walking or via tram if need be but we mostly walked. Our room was exceptional. The bed was so so comfortable it felt like being at home. The shower had amazing water pressure and was all really clean. Towel rental was cheap and you get your money back at the end. We also enjoyed the breakfast each morning at an extra cost. We arrived early and were able to keep our bags in reception for free. We would definitely stay here again! Highly recommend :)

Looking for a hostel?

Budget travelers know there's no better way to make the most of their trip than by staying at a hostel: Save money for exploring during the day, and swap stories with fellow backpackers in the shared kitchen or bar in the evening. Dorm-style bedrooms with shared bathrooms are standard hostel fare, but private rooms are also available for those willing to pay a little more.

The hostel is in a great location and very well kept. The staff was also very accommodating and did free tours. It was also my first time staying in a hostel and it really exceeded my expectations.

The studio has all the facilities needed for a short stay. This can be helpful to save money as Gent is not a cheap city. The location was quiet and safe. The walk along the canal into the city centre is beautiful and has a few bars.

The interior of the hostel is very cute, it looks like a camping. The common room has also cheap beers and board games. The hostel is perfect if you want quiet. Normally it should be quiet after 22:00, but they warned us in advance that a staff member had their goodbye party and that there would be gigs until 23:00. I haven't heard a single thing after 23:00

The staff was really friendly and helpful, the common areas were clean, fully equipped kitchen. The location is also nice, 20 minutes from the city centre, the area is also safe. Comparing to the prices of the other hostels in the city, this is definitely the most affordable one.

Great location for city sightseeing and near tram stops. The family room was a good size, and was clean and staff friendly. The room was not noisy at all so children slept well We had fresh towels and bedding daily. The room had a coffee maker, fans, hair dryer, mini fridge and safe.

One of the best hostels I've stayed. The staff is very nice and helpful. The view from the hostel is stunning!!! The breakfast worths it the value. The door unlock way is very modern and you don't need to walk around with a key/card on your pockets, which is very useful. The bed is comfortable. The room has enough space to all guests, their things and still to walk a bit. The toilet and bathroom are very organised and easy to use. The location is perfect and right in the city centre! Amazing!
