There is a private entrance at the guest house for the convenience of those who stay. the location was great and the owners was very friendly and helpful. we stayed in the cottage and it was perfect for a family of five. the homemade dish at breakfast was delicious and so was the æbleskiver especially cooked for us. the owners arranged a game night with bonfire and s’mores - the kids loved it!

KD by the Sea is located in Kitty Hawk and offers a private beach area and a garden. KD by the Sea, is hosted by Katy and her husband who were both super friendly and very helpful. They answered all our questions about the local area and even offered to make us some supper when we arrived early evening. The room was spotless, had been lovingly decorated and it was clear that a lot of thought has been put into making guests comfortable. For us it was a wonderful change from the ubiquitous hotel rooms found everywhere.

OMG, everything was perfect! Melissa is so kind and hospitable, you wish she was your best friend! The location to the hospital was perfect and the room was beyond comfy!!! I was coming and going day and night and day sleeping, and it was always quiet and accommodating! I will definitely stay here again when I come back if there’s availability!!!
