Locatia a fost perfecta. Aproape de toate punctele de interes pentru noi. Aproape de multe terase si restaurante. Personalul foarte amabil si mereu cu zambetul pe buze. Foarte serviabil si cu dorinta de a imbunatati orice nu ar fi fost pe placul nostru.

The hosts are the nicest:) They take good care of their property and make your stay as comfortable as possible. I've stayed in many different places in my travels and I have to say this is really a rare find. In terms of the location, it's a quiet and beautiful neighborhood with a bunch of cafes and restaurants within walkable distance. The bus and ferry stations are pretty close, too.

He takes care of the pension by himself, every morning preparing that wonderful breakfast shown in the pictures. Rooms might be small for some but are clean and have private bathrooms with all the amenities that you need...I will definitely recommend the place to all my friends and is my permanent choice in Canakkale. 1 minute from the ferry, nice fish restaurants near by. 15-20 minutes by boat to Canakkale.

We came to the Marmara Guesthouse for a short stay in Istanbul where I had my PhD defense exam. I have lived in Istanbul several years but never really stayed in this part of the city. We loved it! It was very important for us to have a comfortable stay as the exam was already stressful enough. Marmara Guesthouse definitely made these important days memorable for me 😇 The location is in a quiet area and not in an immediate vicinity to bars etc. However one block away are restaurants and small shops. 👌 The distance to Sultanahmet attractions is short and the best part is the vicinity to the Kennedy-Allee by the Sea of Marmara. We warmly recommend a stroll here to observe the dolphins. 🥰 The breakfast was amazing with diverse sorts of cheese, fruit, veggies, meze, everything... The day before my exam I spent several hours on the rooftop terrace where the breakfast is normally served and studied. Sockets are available. I was offered to use the electric kettle to cook water for tea and coffee which was available for guests for free 😊 If we return to Istanbul we would stay here again.
