Situated within 1.3 km of Spice Bazaar and 600 metres of Galata Tower in the centre of Istanbul, Mas Suites Karaköy features accommodation with free WiFi and seating area. The apartment location, cleanliness, decor and service was excellent. The host (talha) and the restaurant below were very helpful, friendly, went up and beyond for our stay. Ideally situated in the Fatih district of Istanbul, Fener sweet is situated 2.9 km from Suleymaniye Mosque, 3.7 km from Galata Tower and 4.4 km from Basilica Cistern. Murat and Chichi are such an adorable couple host. they were very helpful with our inquiries and very friendly. the room itself was quaint and clean and we appreciated that it was at the first floor and had its own balcony. we felt the privacy but also security. also, the place is just a few meters away from the famous colored houses. so you can take photos before the crowd gathers later in the day. also try to explore the more local feel of the city above balat. Draman, i think, is the name of the area. and eat and buy baklava at Osmanli Gaziantep baklavalari. about 200 meters walk up from this place. best baklava ever! you know its good when "Gaziantep" is part of the name of the baklava store. this area a world apart from the hipster vibe of Balat below this accommodation. overall, very highly recommended!

Located a few step from Canakkale Port, Dardanelles is located in Kilitbahir, Canakkale. Free WiFi access is available in this homestay. Reşat bey is a wonderful person! He takes care of the pension by himself, every morning preparing that wonderful breakfast shown in the pictures. Rooms might be small for some but are clean and have private bathrooms with all the amenities that you need...I will definitely recommend the place to all my friends and is my permanent choice in Canakkale. 1 minute from the ferry, nice fish restaurants near by. 15-20 minutes by boat to Canakkale.

Featuring a rooftop terrace with excellent views of the Sea of Marmara, this guesthouse offers rooms with wooden floors and free Wi-Fi just 200 metres away from Aya Sofia Mosque. We came to the Marmara Guesthouse for a short stay in Istanbul where I had my PhD defense exam. I have lived in Istanbul several years but never really stayed in this part of the city. We loved it! It was very important for us to have a comfortable stay as the exam was already stressful enough. Marmara Guesthouse definitely made these important days memorable for me 😇 The location is in a quiet area and not in an immediate vicinity to bars etc. However one block away are restaurants and small shops. 👌 The distance to Sultanahmet attractions is short and the best part is the vicinity to the Kennedy-Allee by the Sea of Marmara. We warmly recommend a stroll here to observe the dolphins. 🥰 The breakfast was amazing with diverse sorts of cheese, fruit, veggies, meze, everything... The day before my exam I spent several hours on the rooftop terrace where the breakfast is normally served and studied. Sockets are available. I was offered to use the electric kettle to cook water for tea and coffee which was available for guests for free 😊 If we return to Istanbul we would stay here again.
