For the old/drunk/high, be WARY, the hills in this area as all have said, can be intimidating (Hill Village... nuff said) . Rest assured, the scooters available for hire are capable of toppling it all and are pristine. I wish I had more time to explore the immediate vicinity....

Nice surroundings. Max the owner is a lovely guy. Mattress and pillows good too. Very comfortable. Nice touch with plenty of cool water. Decent fridge too. Oh, desk and Wifi was excellent.

The settings were beautiful, completely remote but only 10mins yes away from shops. Sea helped us download some apps to order to the villa aswell which was great when it rained. Mica and sea were so helpful and full of advice and tips of what to do.

We stayed for a month and everything was great! The grounds are very beautiful and peaceful. The room was functional and modern. Owned by lovely people who were really helpful with any questions or requests. Location is in the quieter Northern part of the island, a bit far away from the hot spots, but for us that was a plus - it’s more peaceful, but you can still get anywhere easily if you rent a scooter. Chaloklum village is in walking distance - with plenty of nice restaurants, 7/11, massage parlours, fruit shops and everything you might need for convenience.

This place is more than just a stay; it's like finding a second home by the beach. First off, the vibe here is so chill. The beach is right there, perfect for a swim or just to chill and watch the tides. The pool? Absolutely cool. It's got this bar right in it, so you can have your drink without even getting out of the water. Just a few minutes' walk from the bungalows, you'll find loads of spots for delicious, affordable Thai food. There's even this one place open super late, perfect for those midnight cravings. What really made my stay special were the people and the pets. The staff are super friendly and always there to help with anything you need. They kept my room spotless and were always on hand to change bed sheets or towels. And the dogs! I got to hang out with the owner's golden retriever and another adorable pup named Silly. We became best buds, and taking care of her was a highlight of my stay. If you're heading to Koh Phangan, you've gotta check out Island Life Bungalows. It's not just about a comfy bed and a cool pool; it's about the awesome people (and dogs!) you meet. I can't wait to go back!

Bamboo Bungalow - Thong Nai Pan Yai se encuentra en Thong Nai Pan Yai, a pocos pasos de Playa de Thong Nai Pan Yai, y ofrece alojamiento con jardín, parking privado gratis, terraza y bar. Very nice staff, always friendly and helpful in all belongings! If you are up to a cheap but valuable accomodation, its highly recommendable. The nearby beach is beautiful and empty (at least off season) and the village seems to be more local and less touristic than the one at the beach nearby.
