The room was very cozy and clean, the bed was comfortable. The owner was helpful with everything we needed. We came with a small dog and not only we didn't need to pay extra, but he got a lot of goodies for free. We are very grateful and we absolutely recommend this place.

Featuring a shared lounge and views of mountain, Villa Magdalena apartments & rooms is a recently renovated homestay set in Maribor, 2.9 km from Maribor Train Station. Everything was very clean and new. We also revived an upgraded room, which was an amazing gesture. In addition any extra requests that we had were fulfilled. We are extremely happy with our stay. I would recommend it to anyone!

Guest house Stara lipa Tašner - free parking & kitchenette is located 1.2 km from the Pohorje Ski Resort, and 4 km from the centre of Maribor. We thank the owners for the good conditions, sunny rooms, warmth and cleanliness. Each room includes a small balcony with a table and chairs. Ksenia helped us with all the little questions - such as orientation in the city, and basic markings on the map, and was always in touch. The reception includes a cosy place to relax or freelance. We easily got from the city center by bus, the stop is near to the hotel. There is a wonderful restaurant in the courtyard of the guesthouse, with its own history and delicious traditional food.Within walking distance there are shops, oriental cuisine and incredible scenery for walking. If you are looking for comfort and peace this is the place for you. Nearby are mountains, streams, a ski resort, beautiful landscape and the opportunity to stroll in the cozy neighborhoods of mountain dwellers. We recommend.

Situated in an idyllic village Jurij, Guest House Vračko is set just 1 km from the Austrian border. The rooms were very large, modern and absolutely spotless. The owners and staff were so welcoming, friendly and helpful. The attached Restaurant is well worth the visit with great wines from just around the corner and the dishes go well beyond what one can expect on a country side stay. We were a bit worried about the windows facing the road, but they are isolating well and there was hardly any traffic. Wonderful green nature all around.

It was a pleasure to visit this location, to have a long chat with the host and enjoy delicious food of generous portions. There was no actual menu, just trust and good vibes; and we were not disappointed! A mix of regional history, good humor and the home-grown produce made for an awesome experience. On Gregor's advice we visited Ptuj city, an amazing underrated place.
