Just 450 metres from Kororareka Bay, Bellrock Lodge offers studios with a private balcony and lovely bay and town views. The owners Catherine and Stewart were the perfect hosts! They had a great balance between privacy and sharing important information about where to go.

Set in the Bay of Islands, Fantail River Lodge offers a garden. All rooms feature a TV with satellite channels and a private bathroom. Rooms come with a balcony with views of the garden. The breakfast supplies were varied and ample. The surrounds of the gardens were beautiful and we enjoyed strolling around them. The host was very friendly and helpful, providing information about good restaurants and things to do in the area. The accomodation was only a 5 minute drive to Paihia.

Welcome to Horse Shoe Manor, your ideal North Island retreat! Nestled conveniently at Highway 1’s junction, we’re just 20 minutes from Paihia, making us an excellent base for your explorations. Large area with a great outdoors space. Definitely a great place to stay if you are visiting the bay of islands, which was one of my favorite places in New Zealand. We had one room with a lot of area, and another with very little area, so that was interesting.

Very clean and great attention to every detail. Highly recommended!!!

We didn't have breakfast during our stay but next time will definitely take the opportunity. We were able to get a courteousy van from Homestead to pick us up and drop us off so we could enjoy a couple of beers. Lovely stay there and so thankful for the return of my phone. Stacy is a super lovely host. We had issues with the booking and she fixt everything for us. The accomodation has a great view and a beautiful terrace to use. For us everything was perfect and exactly what we wanted for our stay.

It had full kitchen and even washing machine (we didn’t use it). plenty of chairs to sit on the deck. sheltered location!
