Just 450 metres from Kororareka Bay, Bellrock Lodge offers studios with a private balcony and lovely bay and town views. The owners Catherine and Stewart were the perfect hosts! They had a great balance between privacy and sharing important information about where to go.

The Pacific Room, Tapeka Point, a property with a garden and a terrace, is set in Russell, 200 metres from Tapeka Point Beach, 2.8 km from Long Beach, as well as 1.2 km from Flagstaff Hill. Beautiful place with excellent facilities. Bridgette welcoming and friendly. Comfiest bed ever. Thank you.

Set in the Bay of Islands, Fantail River Lodge offers a garden. All rooms feature a TV with satellite channels and a private bathroom. Rooms come with a balcony with views of the garden. Everything was perfect! The property has a beautiful ground with an outdoor area by the river. The loft itself where we stayed was perfect. It’s very dog friendly with a gated garden for our dog to roam around. The space has everything we need and more! Chris and Val are absolutely lovely, such amazing hosts and we’d love to go back there. Thank you for your unrivaled hospitality :)

Welcome to Horse Shoe Manor, your ideal North Island retreat! Nestled conveniently at Highway 1’s junction, we’re just 20 minutes from Paihia, making us an excellent base for your explorations. Large area with a great outdoors space. Definitely a great place to stay if you are visiting the bay of islands, which was one of my favorite places in New Zealand. We had one room with a lot of area, and another with very little area, so that was interesting.

No setting in New Zealand is richer in history or nature than the Bay of Islands, and Paihia is at its centre - the departure point for all the boating and bay tour activities that explore the... We stayed for two nights at the Riverside Homestead while visiting Bay of Islands and a day trip out to Cape Reinga. What a wonderful stay - the house is one of the most peaceful places we have stayed at. Michael and Chris have exceptional attention to details, from calming music when entering the room to an excellent breakfast on the balcony while enjoying the fantastic views down to the river. Everything at breakfast was home made as well! Great location to some nice restaurants, breweries and to the treaty ground. We will definitely recommend friends and family to stay here!

J&D Cottage, a property with a garden, is situated in Kerikeri, 26 km from Opua Forest, 4.5 km from Kemp House and Stone Store, as well as 21 km from Haruru Falls. We didn't have breakfast during our stay but next time will definitely take the opportunity. We were able to get a courteousy van from Homestead to pick us up and drop us off so we could enjoy a couple of beers. Lovely stay there and so thankful for the return of my phone. Offering quiet street views, Top of the Bay is an accommodation situated in Paihia, 600 metres from Te Ti Bay Beach and less than 1 km from Paihia Beach. Stacey our host was friendly and so helpful. She went out of her way to provide us ironing facilities and to sort a mix-up with a double payment. The view from the room was breathtaking in a quiet and peaceful setting. We highly recommend Top of the Bay (it truly is!!) and would definitely return.

Featuring garden views, Pipiroa Bay Homestay provides accommodation with a private beach area and a patio, around 7.6 km from Christ church. Lovely large property, really comfortable. Owner was brilliant and so friendly. The views were AMAZING. It's a most definite place to stay.
