Housed in a 1914 building, this central inn lies only 6 minutes’ walk from Røros Station. It offers rooms and apartments with free Wi-Fi and private parking. An amazing hotel. It was -36 Celsius and we felt warm and cozy! The staff were so nice and had our kids throwing hot water outside to freeze in the air! Make sure you eat in their restaurant as it is exceptional. It is right in the middle of town too. Would highly recommend, especially for a family of 6. We had our own little area of rooms so we didn't have to worry about being noisy!

Guest rooms in the guest house are equipped with a kettle. very friendly host. we could use the kitchen and "were not allowed" to clean up. We had only to put the dirty dishes in the dishwasher.

Offering tents made of wood and glass, Hessdalen Ufocamp is located in Vårhus, 28 km from Røros. Tents at Hessdalen Ufocamp include reindeer hides and a fireplace. Wonderful, unique experience. Loved the log burning stove in the cabin. A great place to connect with nature.
