This place is a GEM. It’s a bit out there, but I like places that are a bit more removed. The view is spectacular, the room was clean and comfortable. Additionally, I arrived super late due to ferry schedules and was met by the owner who recognized I’d not eaten and made me dinner. We sat up and chatted for ages, she was so kind. It’s been just amazing and I can’t recommend this place enough.

Located in Svolvær, Kule gule huset features a garden and a shared lounge. This homestay offers free private parking and a shared kitchen. I had the best time in Svolvaer thanks to Lene! Cosy room, functional house and amazing view on the harbour and the rorbu. Lene was so kind and generous and gave me essential advices so I had a great time!

Located in Kabelvåg in the Nordland region, Lofoten Kabelvåg-small apartment features accommodation with free private parking. The property features sea views. Perfect location just 4 miles from Svolvær where we departed our Hurtigruten ship. The property is just off the harbor with a water view out the kitchen window. The apartment nicely remodeled and appointed with beautiful cabinets and appliances and was very comfortable. Great off-street parking with a grocery store nearby. The host visited us to explain how to use the appliances and made suggestion on places to dine as well as sightseeing opportunities.

Det Gamle Hotellet Guesthouse sijaitsee Reinessä. WiFi on käytettävissä ilmaiseksi. Guesthousen jokaisessa majoitusyksikössä on oleskelualue. The bed, it’s so comfortable. The location, Reine is tiny, but it’s right in the center. Fridge and kettle available (instant coffee and tea too). Room was really spacious (two comfortable chairs and a coffee table). Beautiful views. Very clean.

Set in Sortland in the Nordland region, Art Studio has a patio and mountain views. This property offers access to a terrace and free private parking. This is just the perfect place with a perfect host, great music, art and a nice neighbourhood. They stepped when public transport was weak.

Featuring a terrace, Frugga Feriehus og leilighet is a holiday home, located in Hovden. Guests benefit from patio. Such a stunning, remote location – we couldn’t believe the views. The host was incredibly nice and the apartment was well-equipped, I was pleased to see an induction hob and even a dishwasher. Very comfy bed and the room even had AC, which was quite helpful as it got quite hot during our stay due to the 24 hours of daylight in the summer months. Everything was exceptionally clean as well. I wish we could have stayed longer!
