The host helped us a lot. When we came we did not have any food with us, he lent us his scooter for free to go get some food in town. We could also store our baggage when exploring the island for a few days. Great location with a nice vibe. Would come again.

Ananda Guest house is located on the slopes of the Maderas Volcano on Ometepe Island, 19 mi from the port of Moyogalpa. Beautiful location. Walking distance to main road with some nice restaurants within 30 mins. Information booklet in the room was helpful. Help to rent mopeds, organise transport, guides etc. The room was spacious, bed was really comfortable, hardly any creepy crawlies (this is a complaint from many of the eco lodges). Good wifi. 2 fans which was nice. Good shower pressure and temperature.

Set in Moyogalpa, Casa de Gio offers free WiFi and units fitted with a kitchenette and seating area. Some units have a dining area and/or a patio. Helpful & welcoming staff. We had the option to upgrade to air conditioning for an extra $10/night. It was hot, so we took it. The staff connected us to reasonably-priced & trustworthy scooter rentals, so that was a real bonus. They also prepared a breakfast for us at short-notice when we realized we wanted to catch a ferry at a certain time, so that was appreciated. Other reviews mention "sketchy characters" around, but nobody bothered us out on the streets at all. Definitely recommended!

Terletak di Altagracia, 6.2km dari Gunung Berapi Maderas, La Sirenita - Ometepe menawarkan penginapan dengan taman, tempat parking peribadi, teres dan bar. The location is beautiful!! Beach huts are clean, comfortable and cozy. The lake is on your doorstep with views of the volcano to your right and a great sunset bar to your left. An island paradise with lovely dogs, chickens, a cat, ducks along with a friendly and helpful owner. Scooter access is 100% okay! There is a restaurant next door but if you want to go to others it’s a close 10min drive. Look no further and stay here!

Great value for money. Very friendly owners with great communication. They make lovely meals. Room was basic but everything was clean and neat and there is a fan for the warm weather. Would definitely return.

Terletak di Balgue, 12km dari Gunung Berapi Maderas, Hostal Así es mi Tierra menyediakan penginapan dengan taman, tempat parking peribadi percuma dan teres. Charmingly decorated property with a lot of greenery. We had a lovely private cabin with a comfortable bed and a nice shower. Lots of friendly animals on site. The staff were very friendly and helpful.

Terletak di Cuatro Esquinas, 16km dari Gunung Berapi Maderas, Hostal Bullshark menawarkan penginapan dengan taman, tempat parking peribadi percuma, lounge berkongsi dan teres. We liked this hostel, it was really laid back. The lady who runs it is really nice, the kitchen had everything you needed and the room was really comfortable and clean. It was also super spacious. They have a really cool balcony with some awesome views.

Terletak di Moyogalpa, Guest House Nena mempunyai taman dan teres. Tempat penginapan ini menyediakan kaunter penerimaan tetamu 24 jam, shuttle lapangan terbang, dapur berkongsi dan WiFi percuma. I left two pouches with my passport, money, and everything important I was traveling with at the Guest House Nena when I departed to take a ferry back to San Jorge. I had no idea I had left them! They were under a sheet on the bed that I had inadvertently covered them with. After the people at the Guesthouse found my pouches and their valuable contents, they looked around for me, and the young lady from the Nena eventually ended up boarding ferry before we left and asked for me. Fortunately, she found me. I thanked her profusely and gave her a hug. I was extremely happy and grateful to have my stuff and to have adverted a semi-disaster. I owe that girl and the Guest House Nena in Moyogalpa….
