The property is fairly new so all of the accommodations are modern. It also has a stand alone bungalow room, which I stayed in, which is like having one’s own little home! There is a beautiful pool on the property as well. The family that runs the property is great and will do everything they can to make your stay enjoyable.

The air conditioning worked well plus a strong ceiling fan. The room was clean as well and the host provided an adapter in the room. He also welcomed us with two fresh coconut waters and on the morning of our safari at 5am he was kind enough to make us coffee. On our last day he gave us fresh watermelon slices before checking out. We were also picked up and dropped off from the bus station by the host. Very helpful and kind. Would recommend

Great spot to base yourself for Yala Park. The Cabana has 2 rooms available to book, one on the top floor with a terrace and one on the ground floor. My friend and I each booked one of the rooms which are equal in size and amenities. Very clean and a decent shower, good ac and wifi. The host was incredibly friendly and accommodating. She helped us with booking a Yala Park Tour. Best breakfast! Overall, great price and spot for access to Yala.

The owners were very friendly and helpful with everything we needed. The location is right by the lake and the view is fantastic. The place is very well kept with a lot of love and attention to details like beautifully arranged plants. We had dinner and breakfast there, both were absolutely delicious, better than in many restaurants!

Hosts were so friendly and helpful, they helped us book a safari which was also excellent and very good price. One of the nicest hotels we’ve stayed in in Sri Lanka. Offering a restaurant and free bikes, MOON LIGHT Guest House is located just 1.1 km from the Tissamaharama Bus Station and 3.2 km from the beautiful Tissa Lake. The property is beautiful, room and bathroom are clean and comfortable. Food is so delicious (breakfasts & dinners). Sanjeewa is a kind heart, very helpful and friendly, he organized for us transfers to/from hotel and full day safari (Samit as driver) that we highly recommend!

Offering a restaurant, Isuru homestay Tissa is located just a 30 minutes to the Yala National Park and 1.3 km from the Tissamaharama Bus Station. The cottage was wonderful. The hosts were exceptional. I have zero complaints.
