We were a close family group of 7 persons in 3 rooms. You will not be disappointed. It is only 100 metres from NP entrance & lake edge. Magical entry is unique thru bush path that opens onto safari style forest huts in keeping with the secluded setting. The rooms were exceptionally clean, beds comfy with mosquito nets. Ensuite was spotless. The best part was our host Neehal! His limited English was more than made up for by his entusiasm & attention to detail. Were ate all meals on site and were exceptional provided by Sanjay.. Highly reccomended !!! Ask Neehal about our safari guide Bhashi from Visit Wilpattu - our no 1 experience in whole of Sri Lanka.

A 35 km de Kumbichchan Kulama Tank, Wilpattu homestay by Ceylon group dispõe de acomodações, restaurante, bicicletas gratuitas, um jardim e um salão partilhado. The homestay provided all the necessities for a pleasant night. Nicest host we’ve ever stayed with. Perfect place to stay overnight when visiting willpattu national park.

Spacious room about 10-15 min drive from Wilpattu. Our host was very friendly and arranged a tour to Wilpattu for us. We got breakfast and lunch for along the way which was very delicious. Breakfast next morning was delicious again. We left with the bus which stops 100m from the guest house.

Basically next door to the park entrance, incredibly delicious Sri Lankan home cooked dinner, good room and Susil went out of his way to contact a petrol station that charged me £100 on the way there, calling them and arranging for them to refund to his bank account and then giving me cash. Perfect place for a Safari. Highly recommend.
