The location is amazing, the host is superfriendly, the room is possibly the best I had in one month in Sri Lanka.

Love the view from the balcony where you can escape the heat and listen to the sound of the waves away from the crowd. The staff is really kind and helpful. The shower was steaming hot in the day.

Located 400 metres from Thalaramba Beach, Casa Mira Boutique Villa offers air-conditioned accommodation with a terrace. With garden views, this accommodation provides a patio and a swimming pool. The owner is accommodating. We arrived late and we were greeted with hospitality. We also requested for a late check-out and we were allowed. We brought our dog, who also enjoyed her stay. Breakfast is also great. Overall good experience.

Situated just 1.3 km from Devinuwara Beach, Light house beach home features accommodation in Matara with access to a private beach area, a garden, as well as a 24-hour front desk. What a nice place close to the lighthouse. Definitely recommended: clean, lovely hosts, delicious rice&curry, close to the beach, next to a really nice juice bar perfect to chill all day long, within walking distance to town.

Screw Pine Beach villa is the best guesthouse we visited in Sri Lanka. We truly enjoyed our stay there, so much even that we stayed much longer than planned! All comfort is available, the wifi is very fast, Avisa is super helpful and friendly. The best thing is absolutely the location, its located on a little hill next to a bay area, with amazing views over the ocean. After a short walk of 5 minutes on a charming jungle road you are on Hiriketiya beach. The place full of life, you can see monkeys & peacock roaming in the garden. They serve a delicious Sri Lankan breakfast. We also really appreciated the super clean bathrooms. They have a very high standard of quality and cleanliness. We definitely advice anybody to book a room here, you will not regret it!

Set in Mirissa and only 300 metres from Mirissa Beach, The Jungle View offers accommodation with sea views, free WiFi and free private parking. Amazing hosts and great room. The room and bathroom were very big and clean. The location was great, and breakfast was really nice :) thanks for an wonderful stay!

The Secret Guesthouse, a property with a garden, is situated in Mirissa, 1.2 km from Thalaramba Beach, 2.3 km from Weligambay Beach, as well as 34 km from Galle International Cricket Stadium. This was the best place I’ve stayed at in Sri Lanka. It’s clean and tastefully decorated. Staff are friendly and helpful. There’s no breakfast but there’s a shared kitchen guests can use and a small fridge and kettle in the room too. You can also order breakfast delivery from a nearby restaurant via WhatsApp. There’s A/C and a fan. The pool is clean and pleasant. It takes 5 minutes to get onto the main road and 2 more to the beach. The location is quiet and surrounded by greenery. I’d definitely stay again!
