We decided to stop in at the Golden Residence to break up our trip to Kandy. The owner was great and very accomodating. Our rooms were very large and spotless and the tour of the hotel gardens was fun. We had to leave early and the had a huge and tasty breakfast spread ready to go for us. Best value and cleanest rooms we have had to date in Sri Lanka!!

Truly, this is one of the most enchanted places we had the privilege to stay in. It is unique because you are in the middle of the jungle, without walls. The place is very relaxing, yet you feel the jungle, in the good way. The stuff is most delicate and gentle. The facility is luxurious. We had a great time. All the payments for your stay are dedicated to the preservation of the forest. Wonderful.

French family, we traveled to Sri Lanka with our 3 kids, 17, 21 and 25 years old. We loved everything! The place, the surroundings, the atmosphere, and moreover Anushka and his family. If you're looking for authenticity, simplicity and exceptional human relationships you'll be at the right place. Anushka is a perfect driver and guide. He picked us up at the airport with a van as we were traveling with our 3 kids and drove us to his house where we stayed for 5 days. We felt immediately at home and spent wonderful moments all together. Anushka brought us to amazing places, temple on top of a mountain with perfect view, river to have a bath every evening, tea factory, Ayurveda botanical garden, restaurant near waterfalls, and a place where we spent a perfect time with elephants, having a ride with them, washing them in the river and giving them some food. Such an amazing experience! He also waited for us in Nanu Oya train station to bring us back to his home after an unforgettable train journey to see the tea plantations. Always ready to make us discover new things, exotic fruits we could buy on our way, animals like monkeys, porcupine, giant lizards and giant bats, answering all questions and so interesting when speaking about his country. He can arrange you any tour you'd like to discover Sri Lanka, always helpful and reactive, you can trust him for everything. And what we loved the most are the precious moments we spent with his family. They are all wonderful people we'll stay in contact with for sure. For those who don't speak English good to know that his sister speaks perfectly French ( she's a teacher) and she's also super friendly and interesting. We spent unbelievable evenings all together, singing loud, and dancing, and having BBQ party. Thank you Anushka for everything, for being you, for introducing us to your family, for having such a great heart, and for having printed in our soul precious and unforgettable memories 🥰

We felt very walmly welcomed and like a temporary addition to the family. Ravi met us off the bus in his tuk tuk and his family were there to greet us when we arrived at their home. We found the room very comfortable, loved the balcony space and the fridge! It's a tranquil place within a village so no shops or restaurants, just local life. Rebecca cooked delicious food and Ravi's mum showed us around their garden and all the fruit and medicinal plants. She is a very interesting and lovely lady. If you are considering staying here, don't think any longer!

Pinnawala Elephant Front View Hotel se nachází v destinaci Rambukkana a poskytuje ubytování s zahradou, neplaceným soukromým parkovištěm a terasou. Nice place. Near to the pinnawala elephant orphanage and the pinnawala zoo. The balcony view of pinnawala elephant orphanage was nice.

Green Land Guest House uprostřed sloního útulku Pinnawala nabízí moderní ubytování a bezplatnou prohlídku města. The location was perfect to see the elephants. The elephants walked right by the hotel entrance. And the owners were extremely friendly and accommodating. We will definitely visit again!

New Elkaduwa LOFT Hotel se nachází v destinaci Wattegama a nabízí ubytování s zahradou, neplaceným soukromým parkovištěm a terasou. Nákupní centrum Kandy City Center je 19 km daleko. What a beautiful view. It was great time in calm place . Never offer budget hotel that type of rich breakfast with many kind of fruits. i have to thank for treat me well at midnight reservation.

Relax Home in Rambukkana nabízí ubytování se společným salonkem. Tento penzion nabízí nepřetržitě otevřenou recepci a bezplatnou dopravu z vlakového nádraží Rambukkana. Ubytovali jsme se zde při cestě z Elephant Freedom Project (-velmi doporučujeme!!) s tím, že jsme brzy ráno jeli vlakem z Rambukkany. Lokalita byla tak díky blízkému vlakovému nádraží perfektní a ubytování bylo pro jednu noc ideální. Personál byl velmi milý, ochotný a vstřícný, brzy ráno nás dokonce zdarma tuk tukem odvezli na vlakové nádraží :) děkujeme!
