Els.llits eren còmodes, estava net, ben situat encara que davant està el Gregory Lake i se sent música fin.les 11-12 pm.però per nosaltres millor apartat del centre. L'amo ens va ajudar en tot el que li vem demanar. Ens va posar una bugada, va buscar un xofer, ens va oferir fruita del seu jardí. Molt bé.

Encantadora guesthouse situada prop del llac Gregory en una zona apartada i tranquil.la. El tracte de Heidi va ser càlid i entusiasta, de la mateixa forma que els bons consells!Ens van fer sentir en casa. L' habitació era enorme, amb una sala d' estar amb vistes al llac i camps de te. El llit molt comfortable. Bona il.luminació. Una estada singular en un hotel diferent. Excel.lent desdejuni. Molt recomanable!

The owners are amazing people , the free breakfast spread is generous, fresh and delicious. The dinner cooked by host’s sister is probably the best Sri Lankan food we had. Room is immaculately clean and smelling fresh always. We booked the room without attached washroom but that was not a concern at all.

Es un hotel de poques habitacions amb molt d'encant i molt cuida't. Et sent s com a casa! Desde que estem a Sri Lanka amb diferencia el millor hotel de tots. La cuina es bonissima i els plats exquisits fets amb molt carinyo. Les instal.lacions correctisimes i agradables

I recently stayed at Wood Cabana and had a wonderful experience. The decor is absolutely stunning and really adds to the ambiance of the place. The owners are incredibly friendly and welcoming, and they went out of their way to make sure that my stay was comfortable and enjoyable. One of the highlights of my stay was the delicious dinner and breakfast that was cooked by the owner's mother. The food was absolutely amazing and really added to the overall experience. I would highly recommend Wood Cabana to anyone looking for a beautiful and welcoming place to stay in Nuwara Eliya.

Boasting garden views, woods hut features accommodation with a garden and a balcony, around 4.4 km from Gregory Lake. Chithra, Wasantha, and their darling son Rashi are very special people. The home is infused with their love and joy. If you are accustomed to staying in swank hotels do not be put off by the basic furnishing. The bed is extremely comfortable with cozy blankets, the view is spectacular, the place is spotless and the shower is warm (a rarity in Sri Lanka). The bedding smelled like soap and sunshine. Chithra and Wasantha were professional cleaners in Dubai. — Don’t miss Chithra’s dinners. She’s one of the best cooks I’ve ever met. Everyone tells her she should write a cookbook - and she should. When the tuktuk wound up the steep hill to drop me off at their home at the top, it seemed far away from town. It’s not!!! Chithra showed me a shortcut. It’s an easy path down to the town and back up. It’s not as steep as it looks. It was an easy 10 minute walk down to town and maybe a 15 minute walk back up. I enjoyed getting to know Chithra and family so I engaged them but I was the one who had to initiate that. The family’s default is to leave guests alone. Wasantha was going to take me on a couple hikes in the woods but it rained heavily so I skipped it. I would like to do it next time. I really cannot praise this place enough. I fell in love with this pure hearted family, slept better than I have in a long time, and relished Chithra’s delicious meals. I look forward to returning with friends and family. Five stars all around for this special place.
