Perfectly located as base for exploring Seoraksan national park, surrounding area was a little bit quiet as written by other traveller, but it was totally safe and convenient. Reason behind lots of surrounding hotek closed was due to accident MV Sewol in 2014, where school students on field trip were lost thus Seoraksan as the no 1 destination for school fieldtrip took the biggest impact after no more school fieldtrip are allowed anymore. Facilities are not newest, but well maintained, clean, convenient and the best was the kind friendly owner, Mrs. Kim, despite language barrier tried her best to exchange, felt warm welcomed. Highly recommended!

Located within 200 metres of Sacheon Beach and 500 metres of Sunpo Beach, Sacheon Songlim provides rooms with air conditioning and a private bathroom in Gangneung. Very big room with everything you need, even including rice cooker. I didnt meet owner in person, but I was happy to see some fresh bread, milk and eggs as a surprise gift! The place is located a bit aside from city center but the area is quite and has a nice park with 10 minutes of walk.
