Our host (Saro) took us on a tour to the Killing Cave (horrific history), temple & bat cave (highly informative and eye-opening). Saro had very good English. It was very hot weather when we stayed (40 degrees) - there is only an overhead fan. Don’t expect your normal creature comforts (no a/c). Lovely balcony and hammock to rest in. A very welcoming family - we shared a tasty evening meal. Saro was very helpful in organising our tuk tuks.

The breakfast was so filling and yummy, and we had a couple lunches they offer on the property, which we also recommend, it was very affordable and delicious. They made me feel at home and looked out for me like I was their own. For a solo backpacker, this was an amazing stopover for two nights. The children were adorable, and it was a beautiful insight into the life in the Cambodian country side.

The place is as portrayed on the website, very simple but has everything you need on a basic level.
