It is clean, there are enough dining places in the living room, a spacious kitchen, many toilets and showers. Very nice hostess, everything is provided for children. I was pleased that there was a protective fence for the stairs and toys for different ages. Opposite the house there is a shop where you can buy everything you need. A very big plus is that there is a washing machine.

Located 6 km from Stykkishólmur, Helgafell provides a garden and free WiFi. All rooms feature a flat-screen TV with cable channels and a private bathroom. superb great view from the cabin. a very quiet and relaxing place. mini kitchen that is quite complete; french press and the coffee provided is great!! introduction to super friendly icelandic sheperd dog for me is a bonus!

Great communication, they upgraded our room for free because it was available. Everything was very well explained and offered us paid all you can eat dinner - OMG it was delicious and totally worth for money. Breakfast was also more than tasty. Variety of food types and very nice service. Everything was clean, prepared and no problems during check in or out. Whole hotel is in a great place to relax, close to the ocean, if conditions are good, than it is a great place for the Northern light. Just 5min by car is the Ytri Tunga beach, so you can go soon in the morning watch the seals there. In our opinion this was one of the best stay in Iceland due to our 3 trips. Thanks to all team! We are pretty sure, that we will be back one day.

Set in the quiet countryside of the Snæfellsnes Peninsula, this family-run guest house is 45 minutes’ drive from Stykkishólmur town centre. Larger guesthouse with onsite restaurant. We stayed in a quadruple room with private bathroom. Room was large and clean with electric kettle in room. Included breakfast was good and a nice way to start the day.

This was probably the best place my friend and I stayed at in Iceland. It was new, clean, perfect amount of space with a great layout, nice and secluded, great view, easy to find, the people were lovely, and the dog was adorable and friendly! Everything and more you could want from a place to stay! I wish everywhere was as nice, this place checked all of our boxes. We even were able to faintly see the northern lights.

The location was picturesque and check in was simple. Our room had its own private bathroom and it was clean with good water pressure. The heated towel rack was a bonus! The breakfast was outstanding and definitely worth the additional charge.
