The tractor theme and the story behind in (including the cowshed) are a highlight! The breathtaking views of the surrounding mountains and nearby coastline from my room were simply awe-inspiring. The breakfast, featuring a delightful array of local and homemade delicacies, was a true feast for the taste buds. (Especially the homeade jam!) The use of fresh, locally sourced ingredients added an extra touch of authenticity to the dining experience, making it a perfect start to the day. Beyond the physical aspects of the guest house, the staff's extensive knowledge of the local area and their genuine passion for sharing Iceland's rich history and culture truly sets Drangar Guest House apart. Their recommendations for nearby attractions, hidden gems, and off-the-beaten-path experiences allowed me and my husband to explore Iceland in a truly authentic way, creating memories that will last a lifetime. It is clean, there are enough dining places in the living room, a spacious kitchen, many toilets and showers. Very nice hostess, everything is provided for children. I was pleased that there was a protective fence for the stairs and toys for different ages. Opposite the house there is a shop where you can buy everything you need. A very big plus is that there is a washing machine.

Room was large and clean with electric kettle in room. Included breakfast was good and a nice way to start the day.

It was new, clean, perfect amount of space with a great layout, nice and secluded, great view, easy to find, the people were lovely, and the dog was adorable and friendly! Everything and more you could want from a place to stay! I wish everywhere was as nice, this place checked all of our boxes. We even were able to faintly see the northern lights.

Our room had its own private bathroom and it was clean with good water pressure. The heated towel rack was a bonus! The breakfast was outstanding and definitely worth the additional charge.
