The family runs the hotel, farm. and the restaurant. The hot pots were great for soaking, and a view of the farm animals and the older historic farm house. The restaurant was beautifully decorated with art work made by a great aunt of the family. It had an inviting atmosphere, and delicious food made by the family, all farm to table. A place I would love to stay again!

It was a really nice stay with a stunning view. We were also allowed to visit horses and sheep in the farm, which was great. Overall, an awesome experience!

The owners are super nice and helpful.

Nicely decorated and furnished apartment with lots of space and well equipped kitchen. Perfect also for a longer stay. The host is very friendly, helpful and responsive.

Solvanes Farmholidays is offering accommodation in Varmahlid. The property features mountain and river views. Incredibly kind owners, nice rooms. We were able to get an excellent dinner after a long day of driving. The breakfast was also top notch. If you want a more personal experience, this is the place. My daughter loved it because she could feed the lambs of the farm.

Set in Sauðárkrókur, Karuna Guesthouse offers accommodation with a sauna and a hot tub. The property has mountain and garden views. We stayed for 1 night with our kids (2 & 6 yo). Very clean and brand new rooms in cozy and beautiful Skagafjörður. Stunning sunset during midnight. Our kids loved the lovely dogs and were fascinated by the hens and horses. We also got to taste fresh eggs from the farms hens the next morning. That was a big hit with the children. Over all very pleasent stay :)
