Located within 500 metres of Kodamdeshwar Temple and less than 1 km of Shiv Bari Temple in Bikaner, Little prince guest house & homestay features accommodation with seating area. I arrived very early in the morning. The owner let me check in and rest earlier. Also when I left the next day, I needed to wait for the evening train. The owner kindly let me shower and stay there comfortably.

This location is excellent from you go the location history/ Is next the train station. Breakfast and lunch is the the best because the quality.

Boasting a shared lounge and views of mountain, Khamma Heritage is a recently renovated guest house situated in Jodhpur, 2 km from Mehrangarh Fort. Amazing 2 twenty year olds Ritik & Atik running this fantastic home stay and with such energy, enthusiasm. There is no lift, after a relaxed check in I was taken to my room, and my large bag was already inside. Centrally located, home cooked food. “No can do” attitude was so refreshing. I mentioned the light switches needed labeling because it was hard to work out which lights related to each switch-Ritik will rectify this straightaway. I was transported by scooter to my cooking class which was great fun. Suggest you arrange your transportation/tours via Ritik as he is knowledgeable,efficient and reliable. I was ripped off by one of Tuk Tuk drivers-not booked via Ritik. My room was a king suite on the second floor with balcony and it was superb, clean and a comfy king bed. Kettle in room with free snacks-and if you wanted more, it wasn’t an issue. I went for dinner to the recently opened Novotel and felt on first impressions it lacked character in comparison, and not to mention it was 20 minutes outside the blue city. I cannot rate my stay highly enough and can totally recommend Khamma Heritage Hotel.

Offering quiet street views, Cocoon Auberge is an accommodation situated in Jaipur, 2.2 km from Seesh Mahal and 5.6 km from Jalmahal. The couple who run this guesthouse and are friendly and very helpful, while respecting your privacy. The location is quiet and picturesque - very close to Amer Fort. Affordable rickshaw rides to the city centre are easily arranged. A kitchen is available for use, and a supermarket and various eateries are nearby. Highly recommended.

Set within 1.9 km of Jaipur Railway Station and 3.9 km of Birla Mandir Temple, Jaipur in Jaipur, Girisadan Boutique Hotel provides accommodation with seating area. The host went above and beyond any host’s duty. He helped us organize a driver weeks ahead of the trip, was always there to answer any of my questions, made suggestions and gave us tips. This is why I always prefer home stays over hotels. It is the personal touch that makes the whole experience so much more memorable. The location is central and yet far away enough from the loud craziness of the city center. The rooms are spacious, the beds comfortable, and I loved sitting on the spacious terrace at night.

Featuring city views, Marigold Homestay features accommodation with terrace, around a few steps from Jaisalmer Fort. With quiet street views, this accommodation provides a balcony. I ran away from an uncomfortable hostel situation, and Marigold was my safe haven. It's so cheap for such spacious and luxurious rooms. The cafe is great and Asish is probably the best and most helpful person you will ever meet.

Offering a garden and city view, The Cavalry - Abhay Niwas is located in Udaipur, 2.6 km from Jagdish temple and 2.8 km from Bagore ki Haveli. It's in a quite place so you can really rest after a long day full of experiences. Udai is an amazing host, he takes care of his guests very much. He is always reachable by whatsapp in case you need something. He has good suggestions and he can recommend you an excellent car driver for daily tours. We are very happy that we chose this accommodation!

Set within 1.7 km of Mehrangarh Fort and 1.1 km of Jaswant Thada in Jodhpur, Aura B&B - The Haveli Homestay offers accommodation with seating area. Brilliant stay here at Aura - Praful was so welcoming and helpful throughout - the rooms were beautiful and clean, and we felt very at home. Would highly recommend!

Offering quiet street views, The Prince Haveli is an accommodation located in Bikaner, 1.9 km from Bikaner Railway Station and 200 metres from Kodamdeshwar Temple. This Haveli is magic. It’s charismatic and beautiful and staying there felt special. Sure it’s old and little worn out, but for me that’s exactly what made it special. This place has history and a lot of charm. Bilal, the owner is really kind, and naturally funny, and very generous. Mohammed, who works there is also very nice and Lilu is a sweetheart. Good vegetarian food, nice hot shower, beautifully decorated rooms. But the best, was the energy and laughs, you cannot put the price on that. Thank you guys for an unforgettable experience and hopefully see you again.

Located 1.2 km from Chaurasi Khambon ki Chhatri, THE CASTLE VIEW HOME STAY offers a terrace and free WiFi, all in the old town of Būndi. This homestay is 200 metres from Būndi Palace. This was the best guesthouse experience I've ever had. From the moment we arrived it was fantastic and we felt so at-home. The location is unbeatable, right at the base of the castle and fort. The host Nanu is exactly what you want in a host - he was welcoming, knowledgeable about the area and always up for a chat, while still letting you enjoy the views yourselves if you prefer. The rooftop terrace is the highlight of this property, and where we spent most of our time. Each night we spent hours up there taking in views of the castle, the fort, the nearby temple and watching the monkeys, cows, dogs and children all playing in the streets below. Nanu creates a great atmosphere on the rooftop terrace, with chill music, nice ambient lighting and incense. We had some great chats with Nanu about life in Bundi and the world in general, as well as some Hindi lessons. His mum does all the cooking and we honestly had some of the best curries in India on the rooftop here, made fresh by Nanu's mum. The rooms and bathrooms, while nothing overly fancy, are very clean and comfortable, beautifully decorated and spacious. I felt completely at peace at Nanu's guesthouse and I can't recommend staying here enough. I'll be back as soon as I can. It's worth noting that you would need to be able to move up and down stairs freely here to be able to access the incredible rooftop terrace.
