Harbour House in Tullamore features accommodation with free WiFi, 400 metres from Tullamore Dew Heritage Centre, 24 km from Dun na Si Heritage & Genealogical Centre and 35 km from Athlone Institute of... It was the most comfortable and the cleanest accommodation I found in all of Ireland! A very very kind host. If I will ever travel again in Ireland, this is clearily the place in which I am going to stay!

Set in a period building, Townsend House Guest House offers hearty breakfasts and cosy rooms with free Wi-Fi. The house is situated in Birr centre, just a 5-minute walk from Birr Castle. Our stay at Townsend House was wonderful! The room was beautiful- we stayed in the family suite which was spacious and very comfortable. The location was just perfect for exploring the small village of Birr- walking distance to the castle and town center. The staff were welcoming and the breakfast was delicious (and huge!). We were so happy with this stay and would definitely recommend it.

The Stables Townhouse B&B, is located on the famous Georgian streetscape of Oxmantown Mall, in the heart of Birr and directly opposite Birr Theatre & Arts Centre. The staff were very polite and the room spacious and elegant. The position was first rate with the castle at one end of the street, a church at the other and lovely Georgian houses in between. The breakfast was excellent with a wide range of choices. There was also plentiful safe free parking on the street outside. A walk in the castle grounds is recommended.
