The house is very clean, nice view of the lake from the rooftop, very quiet but 5 minutes walking from the main street. The host is amazing and very helpful ! We had a wonderful time in San Pedro !

Set in Santa Cruz La Laguna in the Solola region, Posada Del Viajero - Mayan Travelers Inn has a terrace and lake views. We really enjoyed our stay at Posada Del Viajero, we felt welcomed and enjoyed seeing the village. The breakfast was delicious and views from the terrace were amazing.

Featuring a garden and views of mountain, Amankaya Atitlan is a recently renovated guest house located in Cerro de Oro, 18 km from Volcano Atitlan. The house was very spacious with a full kitchen for use. Would recommend stocking up on groceries prior to reaching the home. The view was stellar and the house was on a tranquil and serene portion of the lake.

Casa Qatzij will forever hold a special place in my heart. This space is truly a home and you’re a welcomed part of a family. The kitchen facilities are gorgeous and a lot of thought was put into it, similarly with the rest of the house. Truly, one of the nicest kitchens I’ve seen during my travels, with everything from sharp stainless steel knives to spices to cast irons!! There’s an exhaustive collection of novels, non-fiction, zines, and other readings materials and many cozy spots to curl into (possibly with one of the three animals who live here.) Everything is cleaned daily and I found my bed to be sooo comfortable after weeks of lumpy pillows are wiry mattresses. San Lucas Toliman is certainly a quiet part of the lake, but worth visiting! Veronica, Frida and I went for an excursion to Punta de Diosas (goddess point). it’s also worth noting that while the owner was away, his volunteer Veronica held the container of this space with such integrity and joy! I think it speaks volumes to the energy of this home that she is so wonderful. additionally- Veronica gave me the best haircut of my life. I’m truly leaving here as a different person. COME HERE!! Just live and be in this thoughtful, gorgeous home.

Great location, grocery store on the corner with street food stall nearby every evening. Rooms were clean and a hammock outside each room with a view of the mountains was a dream. Has rooftop with clothesline and open space with nice views. Well equipped kitchen with purified water (small fee for bottle refills). Lovely garden area and the staff were just delightful!

Cabaña Tzanjuyu is a recently renovated guest house in San Juan La Laguna, where guests can makes the most of its outdoor swimming pool, garden and terrace. The cabaña is very authentic and charming, well located in the center of San Juan in a neighborhood that is little touristy, all what we were looking for. Javier and Maria were incredible host, very interesting, passionate and humanist but also very generous (they offered me an herbal tea when I was sick). The view is just stunning and the place has all the comfort needed (even hot shower). We would recommend it to anyone coming to Atitlan.
