Situated in Omalo, A North Homestay features accommodation with seating area. This property offers access to a terrace and free private parking. Very moden new built guesthouse in Upper Omalo which offers big clean rooms with a private bathroom, hot water shower, very comfortable bed, warm blanket in a wonderful location. Good WiFi, free coffee and tea, luggage storage , nice social atmosphere. There is a big terrace where you can enjoy the sunset and a common room where you can spend your time when you decide to have a lazy day instead of exploring wonderful Tusheti. The owner family is extremely friendly and helpful, great breakfast and dinner on demand and lots of information and help available. Ask them to help you to arrange your transport to and from Alvani, it will save you a lot of time and you will be taken care of by safe and friendly drivers for a very competitive price. Definitely at the moment one of the best places to stay in Omalo and definitely incredible good value for the rather low room rate. Stayed here several times during my longer visit of Tusheti and are looking forward to coming back soon.

The hosts at Omalo Guesthouse are very friendly and hospitable, always meeting you with a smile and willing to help you in any way. We can highly recommend the food which was served with Georgian love and in portions which will leave no one hungry. While eating you can enjoy the breathtaking view of the Caucasus Mountains. The hosts also helped us with transportation up to the Guesthouse which was easy and flexible to our needs.

They were genuinely caring for their guests and provided a truly authentic stay and a glimpse into Georgian hospitality. Silvia’s cooking skills are second to none and shouldn’t be missed. She makes the BEST Kinkhali and most of her dishes have ingredients from their own garden. Delicious!!
