Private Lounge and Double Room is a recently renovated homestay in Kilwinning, where guests can make the most of its garden and terrace. Host couldn't do more for you showed us around the property, gave us all the info we needed, very accommodating. Priority was spotless, and the bed was so comfy, couldn't ask for more will definitely be back.

It arrived to our room beautifully presented and at the time requested.

Best part were the hosts. Sean and his mum were wonderful...friendly, helpful, always had suggestions on where to go, where to eat and were very responsive to any enquiry I made.

Private secure entry system and everything you need for an overnight. Fantastic cafe right across the road called puffers always worth a visit for breakfast or lunch. Beach is a short walk along the stunning harbour and really close by to the shopping centre, railway station and plenty of pubs and restaurants to choose from.

Set in a grand Victorian house, the elegant bedrooms at Braidmead are individually decorated and each has a private bathroom. All rooms have flat-screen TVs, tea and coffee facilities and a cosy seating area. Super friendly and helpful staff. Could not have been more comfortable.

Beechwood En-suite Rooms is ideally located between both the towns of Ayr and Prestwick, and is just an 8 minutes’ drive from Prestwick Airport. This accommodation offers modern en suite bedrooms, a coffee lounge/social area and free Wi-Fi throughout. This Victorian guest house is set just 15 minutes’ walk from the seafront, and free public parking is possible on site and all around the property. We booked for five and were given two rooms on the top floor with a private bathroom. This worked really well. Our hosts helped us with medication that we needed to keep safe and cold. They also ensured that our daughter had gluten free breakfast items. Thank you for a lovely stay.

Inverlea Guest House is elegant and modern and serves a full Scottish breakfast, with vegetarian options. There are many restaurants in the local area. We were greeted with a handwritten welcome note in our room (plus cookies and chocolates!) from Liz, the owner of the inn. The inn and rooms are stately, warm and comfortable. It's 130 year old family home that has been upgraded with all the modern conveniences. The Scottish breakfast was excellent. Liz recommended the restaurant next door, which was terrific and very convenient. There was easy and safe parking on the street.. We recommend it and would definitely stay again, as it provides a great experience of a small Scottish inn.
