As others have mentioned, it isn’t a 4 star hotel, but it was newly renovated, stylish, had a comfortable bed and great shower and most impressive, had all the little things you want in a hotel room that they never seem to have: shelves in the bathroom, a place to put suitcases, hooks for clothes and towels, a refrigerator with free water etc. Plus you can’t beat the location in the old town but still close to Gros. Our room had a window to the back courtyard and was super quiet. And I should mention too that the woman at the front desk was friendly and really helpful. Like I said, I would highly recommend this place.

Boasting a garden and views of garden, Mendi Azpi Rooms is a recently renovated guest house situated in Mutriku, 1.3 km from Burumendi Hondartza Beach. The unit was sparkling clean, organic shampoo and soap were provided. It looks like they clean the rooms with non-toxic detergents. There was a small patio where we had our breakfast next morning. The atmosphere of the place is very romantic, I would recommend it to everyone. The owner is very friendly and helpful.

Located in Laguardia, CASA PEQUE is a recently renovated accommodation, 48 km from Fernando Buesa Arena and 17 km from Spanish Federation of Friends of the Camino de Santiago Associations. Our stay was excellent! Beautiful and very spacious room right in the middle of a beautiful town. They have a cave wine cellar downstairs where you can enjoy a welcome drink. We loved every second of staying here!
