We did Vennbahn cycling route and Gastehouse Bendsieferhof is ideal place to have a break. Rooms are comfortable and super clean, breakfasts are perfect and you have space to store your bikes. Owner is very friendly and helpfull! I fully recommend this accommodation.

Everything about our short stay was perfect! Sascha was lovely and made us feel right at home. The room and bed were very comfortable and the house as a whole was historic and beautiful. We can't wait for our next visit!

It looks newly refurbished, the room is spacious with cozy look. It has also a little terrace , where we could sit down and enjoy the sun. There is a shed where to store bikes safely. Breakfast was really good! We liked it all!

Aside from having one of the best locations in Altastenberg, with a beautiful view of the surrounding hills and forests, the hotel has a wonderful atmosphere. A great place to relax and take wonderful hikes. I am certainly going to return! In case you plan on driving there with an electric vehicle, there is a charging station in the hotel parking lot.
