I didn’t use any of the common facilities, but the room was nicely decorated and had all the amenities. There was also an option online to request the change of towels and throw out the trash which I didn’t use because of my short stay, thus I don’t know how that would work but it was a nice touch. I can see how people who are not used to the sound of trains could find the presence of the train tracks nearby a problem. My room was on the 3rd floor facing the train tracks directly and I didn’t consider the sound unbearable, in fact, I barely heard it. The gentleman I had to call in the early Sunday morning to unlock the front gate for me was really nice and helpful.

You have your own room (with a key that you can close) but share the kitchen and bathroom. The house was very cleaned and as soon as you enter you have to remove the shoes. Patric is a very nice guy. He also offered me the dinner that he prepared one day. Fast Wifi. The house is near the train but I didn't notice it during the night and I've slept very well. The house is closed also to a supermarket. In the room there are different flyers of the city of Hamburg, good for tourists.
