Featuring a garden, Eco Guest House - Sarapiquí 1 is situated in Sarapiquí, within 35 km of La Paz Waterfall Gardens and 38 km of Catarata Tesoro Escondido. This "Guest House" is huge. A family of 4+ could easily move in here and live comfortably. The back decks are beautiful to just sit and watch the jungle. It is a little way down the road from the city, which means it is quiet and very laid back. I had both a breakfast and a dinner while at the guest house. Both were great portions with a lot of variety, tasty, and well worth the money. Unfortunately, my schedule and Wendy's schedule didn't align for her bird tour. There was lots of flora and fauna to explore. My personal sightings included Toucans and a Morpha butterfly. I'm willing to bet that there was a lot I missed that Wendy could have found and shared!

I could rest so well after 20+ hour flight. My arrival time was late due to flight schedule, but the host waited for me to arrive even thought it was very late. The best breakfast I had during my holiday in Costa Rica, THE BEST COFFEE I had tried in my life!
