Located in the centre of Santa Marta, 600 metres from Bahía de Santa Marta Beach and 200 metres from Santa Marta Cathedral, Hostel paradise St offers free WiFi and air conditioning. What a great place! Ideal location- step out the door into the pedestrian zone. I stayed in a large, private room with 2 King beds, with bathroom and A/C. Bed very comfy. Very clean! A large bathroom sink; I appreciated having a fridge...all the coffee I could drink, and hot water for tea (at the reception). The room was very quiet overall - I did not need earplugs! (there will always be a certain level of noise anywhere you stay in Latin/South America in my experience). The receptionist was always "a pendiente". Highly recommend!

We came here after finishing the Lost City Trek and this was perfect to recharge. When we went to Tayrona Park after, the owner helped us getting a ride with motor taxis and when it turned out I forgot something, he send a motor to bring it to us at the entrance to the park.

Everything was awesome, but most especially the host staff.. they were exceptional! These couple are really helpful and did everything possible and went out of their way to accommodate us during our stay. very very nice people.

Boasting a garden and views of garden, Casa Feliz Hostal is a recently renovated guest house situated in Santa Marta, 1.4 km from Quinta de San Pedro Alejandrino. The hosts were amazing, the relation between price and faciities couldn't be better. Jan was super helpful and caring, answering every concern. He even took me around and showed me most of the city. I can't wait to go back.

Situated in Santa Marta in the Magdalena region with Santa Marta Marina and Santa Marta Gold Museum nearby, Santa Sophia Del Mar B&B hotel features accommodation with access to a hot tub. The accommodation was very nice and cosy. Great location close to the beach and restaurants/ cafes. Yet it was in a peaceful quiet street. The room was very clean and had air conditioning which was a great advantage. The owners were very helpful and took great care of the guests. They helped me with the taxi and arranged a nice breakfast. Highly recommended

Rooms and facilities are as advertised and the most helpful staff always around for advise or any assistance needed. Excellent pool area and lovely rooms

Set in Taganga, Hostal Palohe Taganga offers beachfront accommodation 300 metres from Playa de Taganga and provides various facilities, such as a fitness centre, a garden and a bar. Everything was amazing! Everyone was super friendly, kind and helpful, made us feel very welcomed :) The location is great, the facilities are great - outside hammocks, a swimming pool, kitchen, clean toilets and bathrooms. Everything was very clean! They will even let us keep our luggage at the hostel while we'll be travelling around for a few days. They gave us a lot of information to organise our next trip and helped arrange activities in Taganga! They have an AC, you can also do laundry there - 20k for 4kg. A great place with great people!
