Jaba jan is a beautiful place to stay, disconnect and enjoy the outdoors, with kind helpful staff and not to far from the main town. It has beautiful river frontage for a cool dip on a hot day. The food is fresh and tasty. The kitchen was a good place to mingle. The beaches and river mouth are a short walk. The river dec was perfect for yoga in the mourning, the nature is all around including growler monkeys. Its got a magic feeling to the place and I will return in the future for sure. Thanks guys for making me feel at home.

Donama River ligger ca. 1,2 km fra Palomino-stranden og har rolig gadeudsigt samt ferieboliger med balkon. Der er adgang til terrasse og gratis privat parkering. Everything was perfect. The owners were super nice, good wifi connection, close to the bus stop, super clean room with towel and fan. It's a new place, he was still painting some things in the lobby.

Casa Flor Hostel & Drinks ligger i Ríohacha, 300 m fra Playa de Riohacha, og har bar, fælles opholdsstue og udsigt over den stille gade. Pensionatet har familieværelser. The staff are all very nice and friendly especially Meyleidi, rooms are comfortable with good location and luggage storage for people going to La guajira tour.

Freesoul Hostel ligger i Palomino, blot 800 m fra Palomino Strand, og tilbyder indkvartering med bjergudsigt, gratis wi-fi og gratis privat parkering. Great staff and atmosphere. Nice area in the back for a little workout or yoga. Close enough to the beach.

We really enjoyed our time staying here. The site is brilliant and peaceful, there's lots of room to chill out and enjoy, plus lots of nature to see. The pool area is spacious and really relaxing. Breakfast was great everyday. The staff were really helpful and attentive. The hostel even has turtles they look after! Around 5 minute walk to the main street in Palomino so not much noise from here.

Jui Chi MaMa har haveudsigt og ligger ca. 2,4 km fra Palomino Strand. Overnatningsstedet har fælles køkken, privat ind- og udtjekning samt gratis wi-fi overalt. The property is just beautiful with all the bamboo. The owner is really helpful and enthusiastic. I had a great stay.

Casa Zaida Hostal Vintage ligger i Ríohacha, 800 m fra Playa de Riohacha. Der er have, fælles opholdsstue og udsigt over den indre gårdhave. Der er gratis wi-fi overalt og privat parkering på stedet. Everything! You stay with Luis and his grandmother Zaida. Unfortunately we don't speak a lot of Spanish (yet), but Luis speaks English and can translate. They let us park our rental car at their house while we visited Cabo de la Vela. They really took care of us. The location is perfect. Just a short walk from a lot of small shops, the ocean and some nice restaurants.

Hostal Nibuni Palomino har udsigt til haven og tilbyder indkvartering med have, bar og fælles opholdsstue, ca. 1 km fra Palomino-stranden. Relaxing vibe close enough to everything to be convenient but far enough away from the business of the beach and town! Good value for money with a nice pool and breakfast. Owner was very kind and accommodating; he made us tea when we were unwell and organised the delivery of an item I had left in the room from Palomino to Santa Marta. Highly recommend!

This is Palomino <3 Coliving with nature… Our room was utterly beautiful, down to every perfect little detail! <3 Open aired, plants in the bathroom for your privacy, just the entire space - we were in awe! This is definitely one of our favourite places to stay, if not “the favourite”! Wi-Fi is amazing here, especially for Palomino, where the power goes out every now and then - Bella Flor has both a generator, and solar panels so the internet is stable even during outages. This is highly important for my partner who works online. So we immensely appreciate this - to be able to take “your office” with you to paradise. The communal spaces are also gorgeous! Just saw a hummingbird in the garden the other day… Easy to meet other travelers, and there’s also a quiet space for when you need “me time”. They also have a communal kitchen. And you can see the stunning sierra and its snow (yes, snow!) from their backyard… Of course we extended our stay here for longer <3
