Centrally located but quiet, helpful English-speaking staff (the *only* place in China where I could actually communicate in English rather than using a translation app!). The room was cozy and warm, relatively clean. All the basic facilities were there. Xixi, the owner, made us a tasty breakfast with coffee. She was also very helpful, recommending us places to go around Lijiang, and helped us with the transportation to the airport.

Modern room facilities including a sunken bath, kind hospitality, and the position of this hotel in an amazing Chinese village all helped to create a most memorable stay.
