Located in Unternalb and only 32 km from Vranov nad Dyjí Chateau, Wachtelwerkstatt provides accommodation with garden views, free WiFi and free private parking. This was one of our favorite hotels from our most recent bicycle tour. The place was modern, immaculately clean, and built to be comfortable. The rooms are built around a beautiful little courtyard. Breakfast was excellent, and our eggs were delivered by charming little guy who was being closely supervised by our host. Bicycle storage was good, and easily accessible. We would absolutely stay here again.

Featuring a garden and views of mountain, Goldene Wachau - Privatzimmer is a recently renovated homestay located in Aggsbach, 10 km from Melk Abbey. Host was so accommodating and congenial- we enjoyed our conversations and his research to answer our questions. He had a parting gesture that was an extra positive touch with a complimentary coffe/tea service. The rooms were spacious and tastefully decorated. Fireplace in communal living room added a cosy ambiance on a damp day. So many likes about this stay- they thought of everything.

Offering garden views, Gästezimmer Ilse Brauneis is an accommodation situated in Mautern, 36 km from Melk Abbey and 7.2 km from Dürnstein Castle. Landlady was super helpful: we decided to stay one more night at the location, asked her during our breakfast but unfortunately her rooms were already booked, as it was Friday. Quick search in the booking.com app revealed most of the local properties were unavailable too, so she asked around and found an available room for us.

Situated in Erlauf and only 18 km from Melk Abbey, Harrauer´s Living features accommodation with inner courtyard views, free WiFi and free private parking. We stayed 1 night in nice apartment with a lot of space and free parking. The owners are very friendly and helpful.

Gästezimmer Rolea is situated in Dürnstein, a few steps from Dürnstein Castle, 28 km from Herzogenburg Monastery, and 40 km from Ottenstein Castle. Very warm welcome by Host and Hostess. Luggage was carried from car to our room. Breakfast was delightful from fresh buns, croissants, different type of breads, cold cuts and cheeses, fresh fruit and veggie platters, muesli and yoghurts plus homemade jams and cake. Kitchen was available for self surf for coffee and tea at any time. Location is within walking distance to town where you will find several restaurants at different price ranges. We left our car during our stay and took the boat to Melk and the bus to Krems. Will certainly recommend the Gaestezimmer Rolea to my friends.

Featuring mountain views, Café-Pension Kristall provides accommodation with balcony, around 48 km from Přemysl Otakar II Square. i missed bacon, but the breakfast was awesome anyway. So not a problem.

Offering inner courtyard views, Weinhof - Gästehaus Maier is an accommodation set in Angern, 42 km from Melk Abbey and 14 km from Dürnstein Castle. better standard than was expected for this price. and: user friendly and listening attendant was there when needed.

Offering a garden and garden view, Haus zum Prater is set in Spitz, 20 km from Melk Abbey and 10 km from Dürnstein Castle. This property offers access to a terrace, free private parking and free WiFi.... Host met me to ensure I got oriented, and then let me just relax (of course he was just a phone call away). That let me explore Spitz at my own pace, just what I needed.

Situated within 25 km of Gaming Charterhouse and 48 km of Basilika Mariazell in Göstling an der Ybbs, Bauernhof Ablass features accommodation with seating area. The atmosphere, the surrounding nature, the goats, sheep, ducks and rabbits…that the kids love to watch, the gardens, the historic house, the homemade jams, bread, butter, and the the milk from the cows in the stable….

Featuring quiet street views, Appartment Haring provides accommodation with a garden, around 40 km from Gaming Charterhouse. You get 2 rooms at ground floor of building which is few hundred years old, renovated in good way. it’s traditional and kept in such way, at same time adding modern amenities. Surroundings are beautiful and hosts very nice and helpful. absolutely recommended if you need to stay in area or are just wondering around.
