Recommended to stay on the way to Slovenia/Croatia or just to explore surroundings. Resturant open in the evening, the menu small, but everything that we ordered was tasty and with great service.

In the Pension Auszeit you live 2 minutes by car from the centre of Velden. The lido, restaurants, casino, cafes and bars can also be reached on foot. Clean and quiet place. Comfortable beds and free parking. The host is attentive and willing to help us. The location is accessible and if you walk to the center about 15-20 min without hurry. For us it was a pleasure ride.

Set within 12 km of Tentschach Castle and 14 km of Hornstein Castle in Feldkirchen in Kärnten, Erlebnishaus Spiess offers accommodation with seating area. Breakfast was very good, the staff went well above the normal, would highly recommend it to anyone who wants a country setting.

In a quiet location right at the shore of Lake Klopein, Haus am See offers direct lake access with free deck chairs and sunshades. Travelled here with my wife for a weekend and had a great time. The manager was super friendly and interesting to speak to! The view from the room was fantastic, and the breakfast was delicious!! Would definitely recommend and would consider returning!
