Mong Homestay Resort is a nature retreat surrounded by the scenic mountains and rivers of Mae Hong Son. Enjoying the cool climate, it offers basic rooms and bungalows with a fan. Free parking is available.

I rarely give 10 stars but this place deserves it 100%. Very good attention from the lovely staff. Your room is a small house which is kind of separate from others. You can park your scooter/car next to the house. Beds were really comfy. And breakfast was just superb! One of the best I had in the whole one month trip. Also the view from the house and kitchen were great. You get free bottles of water also.

Lovely place, well attended to, we stayed here for couple of nights while driving the Mae Hong Son loop. The cabins are so beautiful & clean, each with a patio, a little pond in the front, flowers everywhere.. You can see lots of love and attention has been put in the homestay. The hosts are super friendly & helpful. Decent breakfast, fast wifi, good warm shower... The surroundings are beatiful too, just a short walk from the national park & lake. Great, traditional Thai restaurant, just down the street as well.

My room was quite nice and clean. Surrounding space with spacious garden, growing a lot of cabbage. The homestay owner is a Hmong, very enthusiastic. She cooked delicious breakfast dishes and was very enthusiastic.

Location was beautiful, in amongst the cabbage fields in the mountains. The shower was the best I have ever had in Thailand. Loads of water pressure and a gas heater! We had a great walk along the road up the valley in the morning. Forest and fields scenery with friendly locals. The orange trees were a real highlight for my wife. Good value.

The homestay in Pang Oung was fantastic! The hosts were all incredibly friendly, despite the language barrier. The room was perfect and despite high temperatures in Mae Hong Son when I came up (in November) the area stayed cool and the fan kept me cool during the night. Hearing all the calmness and nature (minus loud motorbikes here and there on the roadway near the homestay) was fantastic. Breakfast was absolutely delicious too!
