Great location for day 1 of Camino Portugues. Host was very friendly, very used to pilgrims. Very thoughtful - hangers for drying clothes, shampoo and body wash in the shared shower, towels provided and “mini-mart” in the kitchen so I did not need to face the rain and go into town for water or snacks. There is a lovely restaurant down the road for dinner (a bit expensive for Camino budget but beautiful view of the ocean and staff were extremely accommodating of my bedraggled state and lack of reservation).

enough spacious room for 1 person. clean. air conditioner. nice kitchen-living area for hostel guests. you can find everything what you need to cook your meal. just was missing glasses. good location if you want to stay next to the beach and surfing areas. some bars and other places around to have a drink or meal.

Amazing stay! 30-40min from Porto center in lovely village with authentic fish restaurants. Visit the beach and natural pool if you stay here. Host is very nice, rooms are basic but cute. Very good price/value deal, would recommend!

The staff was very helpful and friendly. The best location in Matosinhos, close to the tram station, from which you can get directly to the center of Porto. 10 minutes walk to the beach.
