Todo, sin estar en el centro, estaba en buena zona. Con restaurantes y estacionamiento cercano. También cercano a la entrada a la ciudad. El interior bonito y bien equipado (baño, cocina,..) El servicio/dueño simpático, amable y atento. Recomendable!

with time in between weekend festivals, i came to Portimao because it was the closest city to the Algar Sea Caves that had a Flixbus stop. This efficient little hotel really lives up to it's name, but maybe they should add "EasyRestaurantCharmAlley" because right around the corner were some very authentic restaurants around an intimate alley. And if you continued walking, you find yourself walking in a park along the water. I also really like the full kitchen with super up to date appliances and comfy dining table. and sooo easy to check in. later i met the manager / housekeeper ... a very nice guy oh ... really great rooftop area

We just completed our 7-night stay at the family-run small hotel in the heart of Portimao city center with a view of the river walk path/square. Arabi has a lovely courtyard for breakfast, tea breaks, or relaxing. The room is of older style with high ceiling, good internet, and A/C that we have many nights of good rest. To us, it’s of relatively great value with an excellent location near the local bus network and within walking distance of the intercity train station. We used it as a base to visit the nearby Algarve cities using bus and train public transportation. Most worthwhile mentioning is that the host/owner Bruno treated us like family with a warm reception and assistance throughout our stay.

Above and beyond customer service experience! Me and my friend had a long flight from the USA to Portugal and we did not make it to Portimao until 8pm. Only when we got to the hotel we realized that check-in closed at 7pm. There was no one at the desk to help us and our reservation was already cancelled since we were late per the policy. We called the phone number they have at the door to seek for help. Once management Mr. Nuno got to know about our situation he left his family and friends in the middle of dinner and went out his way to come to NDS Prestige hotel and set up our room after hours. I must say Mr. Nuno went above and beyond our expectations! I am really happy to have picked this hotel for our stay! Thank you!

Villa Rio was an excellent choice for our stay in the Algarve region. The room was very tastefully done, with a modern bathroom. The self-served breakfast was also very much to our liking.
