Good localization, clean room and bathroom, nice view from the windows, well- equipped kitchen. It was so great that we didn't want to leave! It's really nice place with great view from the windows. I truly enjoyed the cozy space, the atmosphere, and the hospitality. The house is very well located for several strategic points to visit on São Miguel Island and a 5-minute walk from the sea. I also loved the fact that I could share the space with the host's animals, they were really cute! The house has a pleasant garden where it's possible to have barbecues and relax after a day of exploring the island. The room and bathroom were clean and nicely decorated. I will come back!

We were looking for a place to disconnect from the struggles of the city but also central to drive and visit to the different points of interest in the island, and this place met our expectations. The place is extremely quiet for you to enjoy a book and a coffee in the morning, and to have a bottle of wine and see the stars at night. It has a pool, a barbecue cabin in the back, a garden, private parking, shared kitchen and living rooms, and amazing staff. They also give you pool towels for the thermal pools, as normal towels can get stained with the orange water; and also lend you bikes to go down to the ocean and little town.

We couldn’t have had a better stay at Quinta dos Chorões. The house is much bigger than in the pictures and it’s equipped with everything you’ll need. The location is very centric, which makes it very easy and convenient to get to all the main attractions of the island. However, the best about staying at Quinta dos Chorões is the host Cristina. A very welcoming person with great attention to detail that was always available for us to make this an unforgettable trip. Couldn’t recommend it enough.

This is a beautiful spot! The cottage is perfect, the grounds are gorgeous, and the staff is very friendly and accommodating. Nearby is a restaurant/bakery that serves amazing food and also a mini market. The town church/center, ocean, and bus stops are all a short walk away too.

We really enjoyed the time we spent in Cantinho da Luz. The room was even better than in the pictures, had a big bathroom, and was very clean. The room was also very quiet and surrounded by a beautiful garden where we had our breakfast. The hosts, Joaquim and Rosa, are two of the nicest people we have ever met! They are very genuine and always ready to help with any questions you might have. We will definitely stay in Cantinho da Luz next time we travel to São Miguel.
