Great Stay. There were several things we really liked about this place: firstly the host was quite nice and easy to reach when we had a question. Secondly the location is very good to explore the island since it is very close to Ponta delgada and has direct access to the main road of Sao miguel which means you can reach every place on the island in 30min maximum. The house itself is very cozy and well equipped; cooking at higher level and laundry was no problem. The House has an acess to a small beach, about 500m from the house. There you can find a small but nice cocktail-Bar. Other than that a public pool and a restaurant in the other direction (you need a car to get there). We stayed for 6 nights and had a great expirience. Thanks a lot.

Dulce Frankrike

We stayed at Eleni and Jorge's loft for 6 days in May and it made a great base to exploring the island (most sights are less that 30 minutes by car). We were awed by the location and how peaceful the place is. Do not miss having a coffee or a glass of wine at the end of the garden, overlooking the islot. The loft is perfect for 2 (it may fit 4, but be aware that there are no doors between the bedrooms) and perfectly equipped. Eleni and Jorge are very kind hosts and have guaranteed that we had nothing short of a perfect stay.

Location (very silent, ocean view, close to shopping center), welcome drink (bottle of wine), fruit and biscuits, very pleasant and scented apartment (even the bed linen and towels) and super clean. Parking in front of the house.

The property is well located in the middle of the south part of an island, allowing you to ride either to the west or east coast. It’s close to the highway, but in a good sense - it’s just a few minutes to get to the main road, saves travel time. To add on the location, it’s on the outskirts of a small but nice town where you can walk and taste some local goodies (bolos, queijadas). We personally liked the property for having a separate room and separate bathroom, separate patio to have our meals at - this way you don’t interfere with other guests. Supermarket (Pingo Doce) is really close by. The property’s kitchen is stacked up with any item you possibly need to cook a decent meal. And of course the host was amazing and helpful. Thanks Vânia!

Pedro and Rita were fabulous, kind, attentive, perfect location, private view of the ocean and beautiful island, amazing bath tub, the sound of the waves at night, the furnas, the miraduoro’s, the thermal ocean swim, bar caloura, sunset from the east side, rent a fast car, drink good cheap wine, sip caprarina’s, sip binga liquor, have fun!
