We loved the staff, they were friendly, kind, communicative, knowledgeable, and went above and beyond for us. They also spoke English very well, which is not common in Huaraz, so that made this stay a lot easier for us because we are not strong Spanish speakers. The rooms and the bathroom were clean. The location was quiet so we were able to sleep well. Hot water was available (the labels were incorrect but there was hot water nonetheless). We had good phone signal/reception and wifi was available. The hotel staff also booked our tours for us which helped make our trip smooth and easy. They also offered to make us breakfast for a small fee since we had to be up really early for our tours. This was such a pleasant stay, I highly recommend.

Norma was a great host. The house was extremely clean, which was very nice. Norma also provided our trekking to Laguna 69 which was super nice. The price/quality expectations were beyond met. It is a nice, quiet residency from where you can go on trips/trekkings well-rested.

Kary and Ronald are very friendly, they helped us plan our excursions in the mountains and lagoons. In addition, the room is very cozy and the beds are very comfortable, we slept like at home, the bathrooms are clean. The very rich breakfast we really enjoyed. Thank you. We will be back soon.

Top hostel, friendly social vibe. Good if you're planning on hiking or climbing around Huaraz. The owner Omar is a top man and great to give advice on anything hiking/climbing related. They also offer hiking tours for a reasonable price from the hostel. Free breakfast and nice kitchen to cook in, as well as a beautiful view across from Huaraz from the kitchen/living room area (see pictures). Offers very reasonable priced laundry service.
