Absolutely beautiful place. Fantastic breakfast and wonderful hospitality. Our room overlooked an open air museum, which we wouldn’t have known to visit had we not stayed here. It’s definitely worth the visit. Our only regret is not planning our trip so that we could have enjoyed the guest house longer!

I really liked to stay here during several days. Location is perfect to get to the main attractions and to the bus station to go somewhere else. Clean and comfortable apartment. Many thanks to Rolf who is really nice and was always ready to help and to answer the various questions what to visit and how to get there ☺️ Thank you for the opportunity to stay here and to be like home.

Tor is a great host and we spent two very comfortable nights in his apartment. There was everything you could possibly need stored in creative and cozy ways. We enjoyed the music box while cooking and after a short time got used to the gas stove. We had a really nice time and enjoyed our stay and when we come back to Ålesund we will definitely stay here again!

Jack was a very pleasant host. As we were the only customers during that night, we had full "private" access to the entire facilities (jacuzzi, extremely large TV and excellent sound system, small fitness room, kitchen,...). Quiet like no other place, very comfortable beds. Kitchen is very well furnished, clearly stuffed by someone that uses it themselves. The amount of facilities is outstanding.

Room was cuter than the photos & much nicer than the hallway/buildling it's in. Perfect location near popular stikk.UT trail up hill for view of city, 10min walk from downtown / harbour etc. There was cold water in fridge, cups, plates, cutlery, tea, mints, instant coffee on table. Warm blanket, comfy bed. Directions for checkin/keys were clear and prompt.

Pleasant, cosy, stylishly decorated, immaculately clean, cleverly conceived large room with a beautiful view. Kitchen en bathroom equally pleasant. Our favourite accommodation during our trip in Norway. Far beyond expectations, for a very reasonable fare. It made other accommodations (often more expensive) pale in comparison. Easy communication with the owners. The type of room you wish yourself in every visited place.
